Outstanding Engineering PhD Scholar of the Year

Award Description
The College of Engineering will award three Outstanding PhD Scholars of the Year at the college awards ceremony (Thursday, April 11, 2024). Each recipient will receive $500 gift card plus $500 toward a scholarly conference of their choice. The awards are open to PhD Students only.
Procedure:
Nominations must be received from a faculty member only. The selection committee consists of the Graduate Program Leaders of each department.

- Nominee’s CV that documents:
- status of completion of qualifying exam
- status of completion of proposal defense
- GPA
- scholarly presentation
- research publications
