Come join us for the final celebration of engineers week at the Awards Banquet! This will be a night of magic, food, and celebration. Our keynote speaker for the night is Nick Alley, USU Alumni, Founder of Area-I, and Doctorate of Mechanical Engineering. Don't miss out on this opportunity! Faculty and students will be recognized for assorted awards.
Tickets are available for purchase for $2 on the first floor of the Engineering Building starting February 10.
Student Professional Awareness Conference

SPAC is a premier event designed to help students bridge the gap between academic learning and professional application. It is aimed towards students in STEM or business programs, especially those in engineering fields. The conference is centered around hands-on, practical workshops led by professors, industry professionals, and graduate students. Engineering 360° Maker Space Workshop: Learn How to Program a CNC Mill
Workshop/Training
Come learn about the exciting world of CNC machining! This workshop is designed to introduce you to CAM (computer-aided manufacturing) by preparing a part for CNC Mill.
This workshop will cover the following:
-Planning a CNC operation
-Setting up job stock and work coordinates suitable for fixturing
-Understanding different toolpaths and their applications
-Choosing appropriate cutting tools

Engineering State
Special Event | Inclusive Excellence
A fun-filled overnight experience for students entering their senior year of high school. Participants will explore an apocalyptic world by engineering and problem-solving ways to find shelter, clean food and water, infrastructure, and more. There are two identical sessions of Engineering State in 2025. The first session is June 12-13 and the second session is June 17-18. The camp is on the USU Logan campus and students stay in dorms.
