Ambassador Application
Engineering Ambassadors is a College of Engineering sponsored organization that supports recruiting, outreach, and other college related activities. Ambassador selection is based on academic success, extracurricular activities, leadership experience, communication skills, and enthusiasm. Weekly time commitment is 3 to 5 hours. If you have specific questions regarding ambassador responsibilities, go to the ambassador kiosk on the 1rd floor of the Engineering building between 9 AM and 5 PM and speak with a current ambassador.
Ambassadors are expected to:
- Be actively involved and engaged in the Engineering Ambassador Program.
- Attend a day-long, training meeting which will be held the Saturday before school starts in Fall Semester.
- Attend all ambassador meetings which are held every Tuesday at 5:00 pm.
- Hold office hours, 2 hours per week, to conduct tours, plan events, etc.
- Plan and participate in ambassador retention, recruiting, outreach, professional development, and other activities.
- Attend 1 or 2 evening USU Admissions Recruiting Open Houses during Fall Semester.
Ambassadors must be in the Professional Program or almost in the Professional Program in the College of Engineering by Spring 2024 and must have a GPA of 3.2 or greater
