Utah Water Research Laboratory
The UWRL is located on the Logan River and provides more than 100,000 square feet of space for research, testing, and training related to the areas of hydraulics modeling, water resources planning and management, and environmental and natural systems engineering.

ASPIRE Engineering Research Center
Advancing Sustainability through Powered Infrastructure for Roadway Electrification — is taking on the nation’s electrified transportation challenges. ASPIRE is an NSF-funded Engineering Research Center. Its goal is to facilitate electrification across all vehicle classes. ASPIRE is the only active ERC in Utah and is the only one committed to advancing sustainable, electrified transportation.

Sustainable Waste-to-Bioproducts Engineering Center
The Sustainable Waste-to-Bioproducts Engineering Center is a collaboration between the Biological Engineering Department, College of Engineering and the Environmental Department, City of Logan, Utah. The Center will develop new bio-based sustainable engineering technologies that convert wastes into bioproducts for municipalities and industries in Utah, the Intermountain West, and the nation.

Utah Transportation Center
The Utah Transportation Center is one of 22 federally funded Tier II University Transportation Centers. The Center's theme is "Innovative Engineering Against Hazards." The goal of the center is to advance the understanding of transportation systems and infrastructure through research and teaching activities using state-of-the-art design tools and best practices in planning, design, operations and management.

Center for Space Engineering
The Center for Space Engineering is a multidisciplinary group of faculty who are principal investigators of programs with ties to the Space Dynamics Laboratory.

Thermohydraulics and Material Properties (TMP) Research Center
USU’s Thermohydraulics and Materials Property (TMP) research center has emerged to play a major role regionally in nuclear engineering research and education.

Center for Advanced Imaging LiDAR
The Center for Advanced Imaging LiDAR is a multidisciplinary research center which conducts research and development of techniques to exploit imaging LiDAR data. Research centers around three basic areas: imaging LiDAR systems; applications, algorithms and hardware for acquiring and using fused digital imagery and LiDAR point clouds and simulation of LiDAR hardware and signals.
