USU Engineering Faculty to Lecture at NCHU Joint Symposium
Utah State University professors of electrical and computer engineering will be giving lectures at a Joint Symposium with National Chung Hsing University to deepen the international academic community between institutions.
Koushik Chakraborty and Sanghamitra Roy will be lecturing on power efficient AI hardware design and fault detection and correction in a low power processing unit respectively.
“It is our hope that we can expand students’ latest research perspectives in the field of electrical and computer engineering by sharing our research results,” Roy said. “This will help us further expand related cooperation plans in the academic research field of USU and NCHU.”
The College of Engineering at USU signed a dual Ph.D. agreement with NCHU earlier this year with their College of Engineering and their College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Students can earn a doctorate from both USU and NCHU.
EECS at NCHU includes 54 full-time faculty members and two adjunct faculty members, all of which specialize in electrical engineering, computer engineering and computer science.
The symposium will be streamed live on Nov. 9. For more information, visit this link.
