New Podcast Series Highlights Resources for Engineering Students
In an effort to provide students with more information about the resources the Utah State University College of Engineering offers, the college launched a new podcast mini-series.
The new Student Resource Mini-Series from the College of Engineering is designed to help students make the most the resources the college offers.
This mini-series features seven episodes that introduce students to a variety of resources including maker spaces, the advising center, and the computer lab. Each episode is less than seven minutes long and is designed to help students not only know what resources are available to them but what to expect when they use those resources.
Matilyn Mortensen, the public relations specialist for the College of Engineering, hosts the college’s new podcast about student resources.
“It’s a normal human reaction to have anxiety about unfamiliar situations,” said Matilyn Mortensen, the college’s public relations specialist and host of the podcast. “When you're a new student, it can be stressful to navigate situations you are unfamiliar with. The hope is this podcast will give students the confidence to take advantage of all the resources the college has to offer.”
All seven episodes of the podcast are available now. They can be found on the College of Engineering website, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.
