2026 Commencement and Convocation Activities
This information is intended for students who have graduated Summer 2025, Fall 2025, or will graduate Spring 2026 or Summer 2026. If you any questions, please contact Angie Peterson at angie.peterson@usu.edu. Tickets are not required for any events. We hope to see you at all the activities.
April 29 University Commencement Ceremony – Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. This ceremony is for all USU graduating undergraduate and graduate students.
- 5:45pm—Assemble on University Quad
- 6:15 pm—Academic Procession from Quad to Spectrum
- 7:00 pm—139th Commencement Ceremony
April 30 College of Engineering Convocation and Hooding, Graduate Degrees – Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
- 7:15 am—Assemble in the Wayne Estes Center
- 7:45 am—Academic Procession
- 8:00 am—Ceremony Begins

Immediately following each individual Convocation ceremony all graduates and their guests are invited to an Ice Cream Social. It will be held on the Legacy Field located southwest of the Spectrum.
Grad Fair 2026
Participants in ceremonies should wear authorized caps and gowns. Undergrad and Master's graduate will wear the College of Engineering assigned orange tassel. Those graduating with Associate's will wear a black tassel and those graduating with a Doctoral will wear a gold tassel. Doctoral tams will be used instead of mortarboards. Latin honor chords will be provided through the registrar's office for those that qualify and further information will be given. Commencement apparel will be available for purchase at the Grad Fair at the Campus Store on March 16-17, 2026, or online, beginning March 18th. All graduates will receive a College of Engineering medallion which can be picked up at the Grad Fair or at the ceremonies.
Parking Information
The university parking terraces will be open to students and their guests. Please view the downloadable map for details on parking locations and shuttle routes.

Graduating Spouses
If you and your spouse are graduating and would like to walk together, please check both Colleges when filling out the RSVP link.
