2023 Commencement Activities

This information is intended for undergraduate students who have not participated in a previous commencement event and graduated Summer 2022, Fall 2022, or will graduate Spring 2023. If you are not graduating this year or have any questions, please contact Kristen Gabriel at kristen.gabriel@usu.edu. We hope to see you at all the activities.

March 14-15 at 8:00 am–6:00 pm. Graduation Fair (purchase cap & gown, etc.) – Campus Store. Rent or buy your cap and gown for your graduation ceremonies! Commencement apparel is available to buy from the USU Campus Store.

May 4 Commencement Ceremony – Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. This ceremony is for all USU graduating undergraduate and graduate students.

  • 8:00 am–Assemble on University Quad
  • 8:20 am–Academic Procession
  • 9:00 am–Ceremony Begins

May 5 at 1:00 pm. College of Engineering Convocation and Hooding Ceremony – Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.

  • 12:30 pm–Assemble in the Wayne Estes Center
  • 1:00 pm–Academic Procession
  • 1:30 pm–Ceremony Begins

May 5 after the convocation ceremony. College of Engineering Ice Cream Social – Legacy Field directly south of the Spectrum (after convocation ceremony).
