American Society of Engineering Education Opening Social

This event is an opening social for those interested in joining the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE). ASEE is a professional organization committed to furthering engineering and engineering technology education. The USU Student Branch seeks to promote engineering and effective instruction and educational research in engineering and technological fields. Our club is open to all graduate and undergraduate students interested in engineering education.

Business Dress and Etiquette "Not Every Day is Casual Friday"
Lecture/Readings
Landing a professional job requires more than a great resume. You also need to know how to dress and act like a professional. In this workshop we will discuss why your first impression is so important; the difference between business dress and business casual; and what to wear and not to wear to an interview. We will also learn about proper etiquette for business dinners and social gatherings.
College of Engineering Volleyball Tournament

Come join the College of Engineering Volleyball Tournament on Thursday, October 5th from 2-4 p.m.!
Register your team of 6 people to compete in a bracket-style tournament. Teams from each engineering department (MAE, CEE, ECE, and BENG) will compete against each other to determine the best team in each department. Those teams will compete in the Semifinals and Finals where the winning team will be crowned the best in volleyball and receive a prize!

Welcome, graduate students! Please join us for fun, food, and games at the College of Engineering graduate student social. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow students, college leaders, department graduate committee chairs, and program coordinators. Heavy hors d'oeuvres with vegetarian options will be served. This event is for graduate students and select faculty and staff only. Students are welcome to bring one guest.
IBE Industry Tour at Quansys Biosciences

The Institute of Biological Engineering is kicking off our year with our first bimonthly industry tour! We will be going to visit Quansys Biosciences, a local biotechnology business that specializes in the development of immunoassays. We will meet outside the east doors of ENGR before leaving.
