Pumpkin Toss
Special Event
ASME's largest event of the year: The Pumpkin Toss! Join a team to build a trebuchet, or come to watch them launch pumpkins at targets, culminating in a 1000+ pound pumpkin drop to crush a car. There will be food trucks, incredible entertainment, and one of the largest audiences of any USU sponsored community event. If you'd like to join a trebuchet team, need details for the event, or want to advertise at the event, please reach out.

WEAU Murder Mystery
Social/Networking
Put on your detective hat and join WEAU for a wastewater-themed twist on the classic game of Clue!
Something unknown has entered the local water system, and it’s up to you to crack the case. Working in small teams, you'll analyze clues, map out pipe networks, and interrogate suspects to figure out who introduced the contaminant, what it is, and where it entered the flow. No prior environmental engineering or chemistry knowledge is needed—just bring your problem-solving skills! Come for the ultimate game of, who-dun-it?!?
Free snacks and refreshments will be provided. This event is open to all students looking for a fun evening of mystery, interactive puzzles, and networking.

Wassermann Piano Series presents Youl Sun - Bachauer Gold Medalist
Arts/Entertainment
Youl Sun came to international prominence with a remarkable triple victory at the 2024 Gina Bachauer International Artists Piano Competition, earning the Gold Medal, Audience Choice Prize, and Student Jury Prize. Known for his exceptional technique, musicality, and artistic maturity, he continues to build an international career with performances in Europe, Asia, and the United States. His recent accomplishments include First Prize at the 2024 Seoul International Music Competition, Second Prize and the Audience Prize at the 2023 Viseu International Piano Competition in Portugal, and top prizes at the Isang Yun International Music Competition, the Istanbul Orchestra'Sion International Piano Competition, and the Maria Canals International Music Competition. Earlier honors include First Prize and the Polonaise Prize at the Asia-Pacific International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition. A graduate of the Korea National University of Arts, where he was admitted as an artistic prodigy, Youl continued his studies in France at the Schola Cantorum de Paris and is currently enrolled at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, studying with Olivier Gardon. Student Professional Awareness Conference (SPAC)

SPAC is a conference for students hosted by the USU IEEE Student Branch.
It is an annual event featuring workshops, speakers, and industry representatives. Past workshops have included topics in robotics, AI research, microcontrollers, and hands-on activities. This event is a great opportunity for any engineering student to learn new things and make industry connections. Lunch will also be provided!
