15 Outstanding Students Recognized at Awards Banquet

News Release — LOGAN, UTAH, Feb. 25, 2019 — The College of Engineering extends its heartfelt congratulations to the 15 undergraduate students recognized at Friday’s Engineers Week Awards Banquet.

Each year the college recognizes five outstanding pre-professional students, five outstanding juniors and five outstanding seniors. In addition, one senior is recognized as the Outstanding Senior Scholar for the College of Engineering. The 2019 Outstanding Senior Scholar is Cory Goates of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

Goates will advance to be a nominee in the university-wide Robins Award contest. The Robins Award Scholar of the Year is meant to recognize excellence in scholarship. College of Engineering students have won the past three Robins Scholar of the Year Awards.
