Study Recommendations

It is recommended to understand the following topics: particle kinematics, work and energy of a particle, impulse and momentum of a particle, planar rigid body kinetics, work and energy of a rigid body, impulse and momentum of a rigid body. Emphasis should be placed on understanding when and how to apply correct formulas to solve for dynamical systems, know how to draw a free-body diagram, write symbolic formula, and numerically solve problems.
