Study Recommendations

Problems are limited to those that can be solved analytically with pencil and paper. It is recommended that you study the selected sections, examples, and end-of-chapter problems that are analytical in nature. Examples include derivation of the two-body equation in Eq. (2.22), proof that angular momentum is constant in section 2.4, and derivation of the right ascension in Eq. (4.9) given Fig. 4.7. Calculation problems involve `nice’ numbers that can be done by hand.
