Project Description

  • Build a high-altitude balloon that is capable of flying over the continental United States at a minimum altitude of 60,000 ft.
  • Students must be able to track the balloon’s journey.
  • The balloon must travel strictly using passive methods.
  • Land the capsule in the continental United States
  • Maintain operable temperatures for electronics throughout the duration of the flight.
