Study Recommendations
A set of practice problems is available. It is recommended that you study all relevant chapters including the prerequisite material in Chapter 1 (covered in ENGR 2140). This isn’t a math class. You don’t need to calculate eigenvalues by hand. It’s ok to pre-program commonly used functions into the calculator. When you use a calculator, clearly explain the nature of any calculations. Don’t just write “calculator” and give your answer. Show your work. Tedious calculations from prior coursework (for example: computing centroids and moments of inertia) will have the answers provided for you, to free up your attention for content that is more specific to this course.
