Biography

Dae Han Sung is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Utah State University. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST). He later joined the Center for Composite Materials at the University of Delaware (UD-CCM) and received his Ph.D. degree in 2023. During his Ph.D. and postdoctoral research in UD-CCM, he participated in the fascinating projects funded from NSF, DOE, AFRL, etc. His expertise is in the design, manufacturing, characterization and optimization of hierarchical composite materials and their multifunctional applications.
