Educational Background
Biography
Dr. Tianyi He has been an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at USU since Fall 2020. He recieved PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State Univesity in 2019, M.Phil degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2015, and B.S. degree from Beihang University in 2013.
Teaching Interests
Dr. Tianyi He's teaching interest is in the dynamics and control, mechatronics and optimizaiton. He teaches Optimization for Engineers, and Mechatronics, Robust control.
Research Interests
Dr. Tianyi He's research interests include robust control, learning-based control, linear parameter varying (LPV) system, and broad applications to autonomous vehicles and aerospace systems (UAVs/eVTOL).
