It’s an exciting time to study engineering at USU. You have access to more resources than any class before you, including free tutoring, the Engineering Writing Center, a dedicated student study area, and our two famous makerspaces: the Idea Factory and the Metal Factory.

As you begin your journey, we recommend that you visit your academic advisor on a regular basis. Students who meet with their advisor consistently, enjoy greater success. We also encourage you to join a club and to get involved in research or industry engagement opportunities. Even with COVID-19 restrictions in place, there are many ways to stay connected. And be sure to follow us on social media. You can find all this information by visiting engineering.usu.edu.

Lastly, remember to look out for one another. Do your part to keep yourself and your fellow Aggies safe and healthy. When you’re on campus, wear a face covering, practice social distancing, stay home when you’re sick, and practice prevention hygiene. By demonstrating care and kindness, we can all thrive and make the most out of this semester. Again, a warm welcome to each of you. Good luck and Go, Aggies!
