Mechanical Engineering Students Sweep Technical Writing Contest

April 12, 2017 -- Students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering swept the Technical Writing Competition held in February.

The Technical Writing Competition is sponsored by the College of Engineering and Engineering Council as part of Engineering Week. Melissa Schaeffer, senior lecturer in the College of Engineering and technical writing and communications specialist, says the event not only recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in technical writing but also the College’s commitment to ensuring engineering students develop communication skills critical to successful careers.
