Engineering Pitch Contest

Time and Place: February 19th | 4:30 PM | ENGR 326

Judges: There will be three engineering professors with past business experience and a member of the Center for Entrepreneurship serving as judges.

The Engineering Pitch Competition is looking for innovative business ideas with sound business models and growth potential. It is a part of a series of competitions hosted by the Center for Entrepreneurship at Utah State University. The competition is open to Utah State University students with ideas related to engineering products and businesses. Participants will develop and present their business idea to a panel of judges. Pitching will provide you with:

  • Helpful feedback on your business idea
  • An opportunity to win one of three $100 prizes
  • Opportunities to take part in later competitions such as the Opportunity Quest for the top team
  • Mentoring on how to present and update your business plan

Requirements:

  • Student leader is registered for a minimum of six (6) credit hours
  • Team members must be involved all aspects of the pitch competition
  • Business idea/plan shows the potential for growth quickly and efficiently
  • The team shows a balance of skills in engineering, finance, marketing, and other relevant areas
