Vroom n' Zoom Board

Project

Purpose: The Vroom & Zoom Board was created to be an exciting, reliable, and practical mode of transportation. Riding a standard longboard is already fun, and the purpose of this project is to make it even better.

Motivation: This project aimed to improve the riding experience by adding electrical components to overcome common problems with a standard longboard. These issues are:

  • Uphill travel
  • Downhill travel
  • Fatigue from travel

Solution: Use electric components to provide a means to overcome the stated issues. This was done by designing and constructing a battery system and implementing an electric motor, speed control, and transmitter.
