Traffic Safety Audit

Description

One of the critical aspects of reducing serious and fatal crashes is having safety input from the supervisors as they are the eyes in the field. Road Safety is a complex issue, and includes roadway and roadside factors, human factors, and vehicle factors. This workshop will give attendees a background in the complexity of what’s involved, considerations that should be made, and steps to improve traffic safety in a variety of situations in local communities. Different aspects of traffic safety will be discussed along with your role in helping improve safety conditions.
