Biography

Andrew D. Sorensen is an Assistant Professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Utah State University.

Reliability of Structures, Advanced Concrete Design, Civil Engineering Materials

Research Interests

My research focus on analyzing and improving the reliability of the built infrastructure to natural and man made hazards such as impact and blast loading. Specifically I am interested in looking at sequential multi-hazard loading and residual capacity of structural components post hazard. I am also interested in applying sustainable materials to mitigate hazardous loading conditions on structures.
