Biography

Dr. Zachary Sharp has extensive experience performing hydraulic physical and numerical studies. Dr. Sharp is responsible for completing hundreds of model studies and flow calibrations. Dr. Sharp is a leading expert in Computational Fluid Mechanics and has performed numerical models over a wide range of applicaiton.

Teaching Interests

Area of expertise includes hydraulics and fluid mechanics related courses as well as other water modeling courses.

Research Interests

Numerical modeling of open a channel and closed conduit flows. Special interest in the effects of flow meter, valve, and fitting effects from non-ideal piping configurations.
