Celebrating Women in Engineering
Fair/Festival
Come celebrate Pi Day with Tau Beta Pi in conjunction with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), the Engineering Tutoring Center, and the Engineering Math Resource Center! This will be an informal, drop-in style event held in the Engineering Atrium with posters highlighting women who have made important and significant contributions to engineering! Enjoy reading about their inspiring stories with a piece of pie!
Pi Day Study Lounge
Student Activities
Join USU SWE for a pi-day themed study lounge! Join your fellow engineers for pie, pi, and studying! All are welcome.
How to Interpret Engineering Diagrams
Panel Discussion/Presentation
Come and learn to understand industry standards for interpreting processes and instrumentation drawings with guest speaker Navneet Prasad (Electrical Controls Engineer)
Debugging Workshop
Workshop/Training
The Engineering Tutoring Center is hosting a debugging workshop to help students efficiently learn to debug code to save time when coding assignments and various programs.
Bridges and Belonging
Panel Discussion/Presentation
Mr. Hazelbaker will share with us how he has built a community of people among the engineers he has worked with during various projects of his career. We'll focus on how engineers can feel connected with peers and organizations.

Lecture/Readings
Dr. Todd Humphreys, USU alumnus, will be speaking about GPS spoofing.
Student Professional Awareness Conference
Student Activities
USU IEEE is hosting the Student Professional Awareness Conference, SPAC. This is an opportunity for students to learn professional and technical skills to build a more successful career. The conference focuses on hands-on workshops and material not covered by the available coursework.
Engineering Extravaganza
Special Event
Do you have a passion for math and science?
Are you a female student in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade?
Do you want to learn how engineers are actively improving the world and the scientific community?
Then, Engineering Extravaganza is the event for you! Come spend a full day on Utah State University's campus with the Society of Women Engineers, and learn about how you can change the world!
Our day will consist of four main workshops, each one correlating to a department in the college of engineering (Mechanical and Aerospace, Electrical and Computer, Civil and Environmental, and Biological), a campus tour, and a lot of fun!
Parents or guardians are required for check-in and pick-up but are not needed for the duration of the event.
There are TWO submissions that need to be made for registration to be complete, the registration form and payment both need to be submitted, one submission button will not submit the other!
