College Students' Perceptions of AI-Based Learning Tools: Motivational and Cognitive Factors (Seminar for Faculty)

Artificial intelligence tools, such as ChatGPT, are rapidly transforming higher education, offering new opportunities for personalized learning, efficiency, and adaptability. Yet students’ responses to these technologies remain complex and often divided. This seminar will share findings from a large-scale study involving 773 students across disciplines at Utah State University, examining how motivational factors and learning strategies influence their adoption or rejection of AI-based learning tools.

"Spirit of the Peaks" Short Film Screening - EWB USA

We'd love for you to join us at 7pm on Friday evening in Room 108 at the College of Engineering (ENGR) for a screening of the short film "Spirit of the Peaks"!
Produced in partnership with REI Co-op Studios, Wondercamp, and NativesOutdoors, and co-directed by Hunkpapa Lakota skier Connor Ryan, the film follows Ryan as he opens up about the struggle of being caught between two worlds: the ski and snowboard community and his Indigenous community.
