Professional Engineering Program (PEP)
Students admitted to the Professional Engineering Program (PEP) are eligible to take all junior and senior level courses in their major. Most students are assigned a faculty mentor who helps them select technical elective courses and identify areas of interest appropriate to the students’ career goals. In the Professional Engineering Program courses, students:
- Must maintain a 2.0 GPA.
- Are allowed a certain number of credits with a “D” grade (number varies by major).
- Must repeat courses with an “F” grade and may repeat courses with a “D” grade (number of allowed courses repeated varies by major).
- Should meet with their academic advisor during the spring semester of their junior year to ensure all required courses are completed or planned in order to graduate on time.
